What We Do
HazBasis works at the intersection of laboratory testing and engineering judgment; the two rarely stand on their own. A test result only means something once someone connects it to your actual equipment and process, and an engineering recommendation is only as strong as the data behind it. That combination is what shapes how we approach every project, whether it’s a Dust Hazard Analysis, a hazardous area classification, an incident investigation, or a battery safety test program.

How We Work
We don’t start with a template. Every facility, process, and material behaves differently, and a generic checklist applied the same way everywhere tends to miss the details that actually matter. We start with the engineering question a client needs to answer, then scope the analysis or testing around that question specifically, documenting the assumptions, the method, and the limitations along the way, so the result holds up when it’s reviewed by an AHJ, an insurer, or an engineering team years later.
Who We Work With
Our clients range from single-site manufacturers to multi-facility corporations, engineering firms and EPCs who need a specialist for a specific technical question, and insurers and legal teams who need an independent technical review. Across industries as different as agriculture, pharmaceuticals, battery manufacturing, and petrochemicals, the underlying need is usually the same: a defensible technical basis for a safety, design, or compliance decision.
