Prevent Catastrophic Incidents Through Practical Process Safety Solutions
Our mission is to help organizations establish a clear technical basis for understanding hazards and selecting effective risk controls. That approach is built into our name.
Define the Basis. Identify the materials, operating conditions, equipment limitations, credible scenarios, test data, applicable standards, and assumptions that form the basis of a sound process safety decision.
Understand the Hazard. Evaluate how fires, explosions, runaway reactions, combustible dust events, overpressure scenarios, electrostatic ignition, toxic releases, and other hazardous events may actually develop in your specific process.
Control the Risk. Help clients select practical engineering, administrative, and operational safeguards that reduce risk and support safer, more reliable operations.

What Effective Process Safety Looks Like to Us
We believe process safety work should be technically defensible and based on reliable data, not confidence alone. It should be risk-based rather than limited to checklist compliance, since a checklist can be satisfied without the underlying hazard actually being understood. It needs to be practical for a real operating facility, clearly documented so future engineering and management decisions can build on it rather than start over, and focused on prevention while still supporting mitigation and emergency preparedness when prevention alone isn’t enough.
Our goal isn’t simply to identify deficiencies. Anyone can produce a list of what’s wrong. We work with clients to develop realistic recommendations that can actually be prioritized, implemented, and sustained, which is a very different exercise than writing a report that ends at the finding.
